This week’s podcast is the first of three podcasts featuring books by author Michael Miller. This week’s book, The Sixth Lobe, is the first of two telling Danny Wilson’s story. In this book, we meet 10 year old Danny and discover that he has an additional lobe in his brain. With this lobe, he is able to read the sub-conscious thoughts of those around him. This presents problems for the child; while some adults with nefarious goals decide that this is a useful ability to tap into. This conflict leads to an amazing climax. Listen to some samples from this book in this podcast. (Next week, we’ll meet the adult Danny.)

This week’s Audio Book of the Week is a great murder mystery full of satire and commentary about matters involving the way we Christians do “church”. How do murder and church go together? Check out Becky Wooley’s clerical crime novel, Non-Prophet Murders. It’s a great listen which we sample in this podcast.

I look forward to new distribution channels and new authors. And I start with an interview with author Donna Patton. Take a listen!

In this episode, we take a look at the Cyber-December that is being celebrated at Narration by George. Not only am I making available a great short-story, a true-story-a-day-give-away, but I’m giving a book away every day in December. Today I look at three possible books that might be of interest to you. Knighthawke and Knighthawke: Vanishing Shadows combine romance, action-adventure, and science fiction to tell the compelling story of Michael Weber. Then, we look at some historical fiction with The Declaration of Independence Series: John Hancock. Finally, in the spirit of Christmas, the story of one of the most famous of all Christmas carols: Joy to the World.
