This week’s podcast looks at the next two releases from Narration by George and looks back to a still-exciting-to-listen-to release from 2014.
- A Study in Scarlett is the first of the Sherlock Holmes novels by Arthur Conan Doyle. Production has begun on this novel with release expected in March.
- The Destined is a new novel from two new authors, Glenn Eidson and Brent Hurst. This young adult release is exciting for any age and will be an exciting listen.
- Seasons of Change is an exciting listening experience. The United States Government has collapsed. Mobs and gangs are trying to remake the eastern part of the country into their turf. Ordinary citizens are just trying to stay low and not be enslaved. Michael is one of those just trying to be unnoticed. Until…. You have to read the book to find the rest of the story!

This week, we go back to the world of spiritual ideas to talk about “blessings.” Each week, I end this podcast with an exhortation to “share you blessings with someone else.” The question is, “What are our blessings?” Are they the things we have? The people we know? The life we lead? Jesus tells us about blessings and this lesson from my home church talks about those definitions in the context of Jesus’ birth.
For the opening of any new year, looking back and looking forward in assessment is always interesting. Looking back, we see the accomplishments and failures of the year. And we look forward in wonderful expectation of what the new year will hold. So, it is with Narration by George. I look back at the titles that are available. I look forward to new distribution channels and new authors. And I start with an interview with author Donna Patton. Take a listen!
It’s two days before Christmas as I write this. The season of giving, receiving, family, friends, fellowship, and food is upon us. But, will we take time to remember the reason for this season? Will we take time – individually and corporately – to celebrate, to contemplate, to remember the One who gave us the most important gift of all?

In this episode, we take a look at the Cyber-December that is being celebrated at Narration by George. Not only am I making available a great short-story, a true-story-a-day-give-away, but I’m giving a book away every day in December. Today I look at three possible books that might be of interest to you. Knighthawke and Knighthawke: Vanishing Shadows combine romance, action-adventure, and science fiction to tell the compelling story of Michael Weber. Then, we look at some historical fiction with The Declaration of Independence Series: John Hancock. Finally, in the spirit of Christmas, the story of one of the most famous of all Christmas carols: Joy to the World.

This week, I conclude my interview with Anne Baxter Campbell and Trish Horner about the latest Narration by George Audio Book release, The Roman’s Quest. Anne is the author of this very fine novel. Trish was the narrator for the female characters and the female point-of-view narratives. In today’s podcast, Anne interviews Trish and me. We talked about the novel and about the faith in God that is evident throughout and central to the book. You’ll hear examples of everything mentioned.
