Since this is Holy Week in the Christian calendar, I have produced a narrative of the events of Holy Week – from the arrest of Jesus through the resurrection – based totally on the Scriptures. Rather than rely on just one of the Gospel narratives, I have meshed the four narratives together in one cogent story. I pray that you are blessed by this telling of these important events – the most important events in all of history!
Here are some links to the Gospel records of this story:
- Matthew – chapters 26-28
- Mark – chapters 14-16
- Luke – chapters 22-24
- John – chapters 18-21

This week’s podcast is the first of three podcasts featuring books by author Michael Miller. This week’s book, The Sixth Lobe, is the first of two telling Danny Wilson’s story. In this book, we meet 10 year old Danny and discover that he has an additional lobe in his brain. With this lobe, he is able to read the sub-conscious thoughts of those around him. This presents problems for the child; while some adults with nefarious goals decide that this is a useful ability to tap into. This conflict leads to an amazing climax. Listen to some samples from this book in this podcast. (Next week, we’ll meet the adult Danny.)
My 50th podcast features the first author who entrusted me with a book for production, Regina Puckett. I interviewed her to talk about her about her award winning books, writing, her future projects, and the Warren Family. The Warren Family?

This week’s Audio Book of the Week is a great murder mystery full of satire and commentary about matters involving the way we Christians do “church”. How do murder and church go together? Check out Becky Wooley’s clerical crime novel, Non-Prophet Murders. It’s a great listen which we sample in this podcast.

For the opening of any new year, looking back and looking forward in assessment is always interesting. Looking back, we see the accomplishments and failures of the year. And we look forward in wonderful expectation of what the new year will hold. So, it is with Narration by George. I look back at the titles that are available. I look forward to new distribution channels and new authors. And I start with an interview with author Donna Patton. Take a listen!
