Songs That I Whisper
Regina Puckett has written a follow-up to Concealed in My Heart. Songs That I Whisper is another sweet romance.
Seth Black is Nashville’s next-big-thing in country music. Unfortunately, the road to fame is fraught with temptation and danger. At every turn, Seth has to fight off beautiful women, whilst struggling to make the Black family name something to be proud of again. It would be easy to fall into the same kind of trap that had snared his once famous father. Seth, though, wants more from his life than drugs, alcohol and womanizing.
Suzette Warren is the daughter and step-daughter to one of Hollywood’s most famous couples, David and Charity Warren. Suzette feels safe and settled in the quiet, unassuming life she has created for herself. Her ultra-chic art gallery in the small town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, isn’t the art center of the world, but it is her piece of heaven. It isn’t until Seth walks through its front door that she realizes there’s more to life than the next big art deal. When Seth hires her to paint his portrait for a new CD cover, the two of them begin to see a real chance at love. Of course, nothing is ever that easy.
4.5 STAR RATED BOOK:
The author, Regina Puckett did a great job with the plot, I love the music at every chapter ending too. The narrator, George Taylor was really good too, delivering a flawless story with accents, emotions and multiple voices. Very smooth and easy on the ears. ~Terri
